Wan Huang is an assistant professor of sociology at East China University of Science and Technology. She studies crime/deviance, migration, media, and social policy.

Wan received her Ph.D. in Sociology from Texas A&M University (TX, US) in 2023, and her Master of Journalism from the University of Hong Kong in 2017 (HK, SAR).
